I honestly didn't know what to expect at first as this was my first use of a road bleed kit.
I used my shimano mtb kit that I already owned and added this adapter.
Great quality. Really great. And for 4 quid. Outstanding.
Fitted really well to my GRX levers and to the syringe. Sealed up nicely with no leaks, and didn't feel like it would cross thread.
The thread on the brake side seems not to match the thread on the handle and the bore is too deep on the funnel side (the thread barely catches). It does not look like the right part for shimano.
Hi Eric, I'm sorry to hear about your trouble.
The thread matches that on the original Shimano part and so should screw down without issue. If you feel as though something is amiss with your part then we would be happy to send out a replacement to you.
Also the thread on the funnel is plastic, over-tightening the two parts can cause thread damage. Our funnel only needs around 1 full turn in order to engage the rubber o-ring and create a seal between the two parts.
