1.Need to say what tube Holder is for? Holding the tube or fixing/holding it onto nipple. 2.Instructions are for old type of on/off nipples. Not for on off screw type as on your video. Otherwise ok Mike
Delivery was extremely fast but the kit wasn't great. Adaptor for Shimano Levers doesn't attach to reservoir.
Hey Andy. I'm sorry about the trouble you've experienced using the funnel adapter. The size of the thread on the adapter is 7mm which should match up perfectly with the thread on the Shimano road disc brakes. Some Shimano road disc models do not require the adapter and the funnel will attach directly but most do require it. Please let us know which model you're trying to bleed and if there is something amiss with the part that you have there I will be happy to send out another one for you to try.
I guess a bit like setting up tubeless for the first time, it was a bit messy. You get everything you need in the kit although i wish there was something in the instructions telling me the black plastic part was actually what i needed to hold the hose on the bleed nipple, otherwise i could have avoided losing a ton of oil everywhere! Otherwise you get all you need, syringe seems a little sticky/not smooth, but got the job done.
Puchased bleed kit which was excellent. Even better was the support received when I contacted Epic re the absence of the almost universal bleed nipple on my calipers. Excellent and unstnting feed back received (thanks Alex)
At the second attempt ( my cackhandedness) I successfully bleed and ‘burped’ my system which now works as new and at a saving to my wallet over the shimano branded kit.
