This kit worked very well for changing the oil from a Shimano Alfine 11 internal gear hub. It was very easy to use and came with all of the necessary parts for a full flush and oil change. CanadaGreat Kit for Alfine 11 IGH
I had my old ten speed rebuilt with the alfine 11 at MEC, and the first year I needed an oil change, trek did it for around 60$. This year, I asked MEC, and they quoted 75$, so I started looking for DIY options. This company provides the most comprehensive tools (other places you needed to buy the oil, bleed valves, etc. separately). The written instructions were a nice touch. I ended up buying three to qualify for free shipping, and it was cheaper than a similarly listed ebay item. I would definitely recommend.

Overall, the kit performed as promised, except that the instructions direct you to add and flush 25 mL of oil before adding 25 mL of oil and I found that there were only about 20 mL of oil after performing the first fill and flush. If the kit only provides about 45 mL of fluid, the instructions should reflect that fact and direct you to only fill and flush with 20 mL of oil before filling with 25 mL.

Hey Darren, I'm very sorry that you found that there wasn't quite the stated amount of oil in the bottle provided. We take great care to ensure that there is the correct amount of Alfine oil supplied. I will personally check that this is the case for all of our Alfine bleed kits in future.
