Alfine 11 hub
This was a great product and included easy to follow instructions to flush and renew old gear oil. First oil change of internal hub oil was actually a pleasure. Weill done Epic!
Kit came really quickly and was really easy to use. Have been for a few rides since and the re oiled Shimano hub has no issue. Great work guys!!
Easy to do!
Item was great. We changed the oil in two of our bikes with Shimano Alfine 11. Will definitely purchase product again! Customer service and fast order processing to the US was impressive!
Ok but not so well thought out
Kit included everything as stated and seems fine but the oil contained exactly the right amount down to the ml with no easy way to transfer from the bottle to the syringe meaning some oil gets lost in the transfer and the kit didn’t quite have enough oil to finish the job which was disappointing. Adding 5-10ml of extra oil and a better container that the syringe can plug straight into to draw oil would have made for a much better kit.
Epic Bleed Solutions
Hey Andy. Many thanks for your feedback. The best way to get the oil from the bottle into the syringe is to fit the bleed tube (with bleed fitting) onto the syringe, submerge the tip of the bleed fitting into the bottle and pull back on the syringe plunger. I hope this helps.
